This a welcome and small explanation of what microblading is. You have your Course Overview which explains exactly how to work throiugh the course, where to find your course paperwork, all about your practical assessments and our app. Which you will use to submit your work.

OHS and Safety in the Salon covering everything you need to know to keep your salon a safe working environment for both you and your clients.
Sanitation & Hygiene will cover Cross Infection and how it happens, routes of infection, preventing cross infection, cleaning, disinfection and sterilization.

Learn about the anatomy of the skin and Fitzpatrick Levels, so you understand which pigments to use for various skin types, colours and conditions.

This module covers how to recognised a clients skin undertone as well as colour theory which will teach you about complimentary colours and colours for correction as per the colour wheel. It will teach you what pigments to use for the 3 skin undertones and what pigments to use for corrective work.

Contra Indications are conditions that will prevent or restrict you from performing this service. It is very important that you know what these conditions are so you are well prepared to advise your clients of the best course of action if you cannot provide the microblading service.

We will teach you the importance of good record keeping. We have several full verbal and written consultations videos with our models, we teach you how to record what you have done at every service and we cover insurance and how important it is to have good coverage in the unlikely event that something should go wrong. Good record keeping and insurance go hand in hand. The first thing your insurer will ask for in the event of a claim will be all of the records you have for that client. Do not underestimate how important good record keeping is.

It is very important that you know what to advise your clients that they need to avoid before the treatment to get the best possible outcome for your services. You also need to advise them what to avoid after the treatment to look after the area so they do not do anything that is going to prematurely fade their beautiful new brows.

We also cover possible complications and reactions after microblading and who can perform these services.

It is very important that you have the correct tool for the correct procedure. We show you every product and tool you are going to need. We go into depth of all of the mapping tools and show you how to use them so you can try them all and choose the ones that work best for you. They are all included in our very extensive product kit. This module will also show you how to make your own colour chart, both base colours and colours that have been mixed, so you can give your clients unlimited colour choices with just a few base colours.

When learning microblading it is important to look at the face as a whole. Different face and eye shapes require different brow shapes. The wrong brow shape can completely change the whole look of the face. You need to learn how to choose the brow shape correctly, as once it is on, it is quite a procedure to get it off. We do teach removal in our more advanced course.

We will also demonstrate live brow mapping on one of our models.

Your trolley set up must be done according to very strict health regulations. We will take you step by step through the trolley set up, how to set up your handle and blade, how to pack down and clean your trolley the correct way and how to set up your work area so that is is uncluttered, sterile and flows well from start to finish.

This module will give you a check list for each treatment so that you have every set up and in place to start and complete your service smoothly as with as steps on microblading protocol.

It is very important that you learn hair strokes, designs and depth of blade before you start working on your live models. We have a lot of exercises on paper and practice skins that must be submitted for feedback and guidance, so that you are very confident with these steps before you begin working on your models.

This is where you will being working on your live models. We have multiple videos on different types of brows, dark and even, light brows, sparse brows and sparse and uneven brows as well as perfecting sessions. The models in our videos should cover just about any brow type you come across and how to design and brow map for it.
